The Wohlsein is another beauty springing up a stones throw away from us in the heart of the Brewery District. This one really is a gem, folks. We can personally attest to how great the location is (being minutes away from a slew of craft breweries is never a bad thing), and the subtle blend of concrete and heritage-inspired brick cladding on the exterior of the building speaks to us in all kinds of design-driven ways.

Local firm Port + Quarter handled the interior of the development, and we are swooning to say the least. Elements of the heritage-inspired design (such as dreamy hexagonal backlashes) continue inside, and are complimented by contemporary touches like stainless steel appliances. The homes feel modern, but thanks to subtle vintage touches manage to exude warmth at the same time.

Being in the heart of East Van, The Wolshein will of course feature a number of communal spaces.  If you’ve ever desired an artist’s workshop, a resident’s lounge, a bike workshop, or a common rooftop patio look no further.
