Complex magazine just named Gastown fourth on their list of 50 Most Stylish Nieghbourhoods in the World. Quite an honor especially in the running after world streets like Soho, Harajuku and 1st Arrondissement in Paris. 

As a Vancouverite, I always thought Gastown was a cool little nook but never really looked at it as 'stylish'. I guess I have to step back and try to appreciate it from a tourist point of view. The cobbled stone streets are full of charm and the neighbourhood offers a mix of cool boutique fashion shops, interior design stores, hip restaurants, nightclubs and sought after live/work real estate. 

I think the Complex put it best "All in all, Gastown is home to numerous well-dressed people whose grassroots style reflects the community."
