FARMER'S APPRENTICE

Farmer’s Apprentice

1535 W 6th Ave, Vancouver BC, V6J 1R1

W Six is one of the most coveted loft addresses in False Creek, so it’s only fitting that a restaurant of an equal caliber find it’s home on the ground-floor level of the building. Cue Farmer’s Apprentice – a farm-to-table eatery that serves up organic and sustainable fare inspired by the ingredients of the Pacific Northwest.

As the name of the joint suggests, chef David Gunawan is at the mercy of the farmer so to speak. Fresh ingredients are delivered to the door each day, and the menu changes depending on what’s fresh and available. With plentiful options for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike, rest assured that each and every carefully crafted dish will tickle your fancy in all the right places. A sample menu can be viewed here

The décor of this intimate 30-seat joint features rustic elements such as reclaimed wood off set by raw and edgy concrete flooring. It pays homage to the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest so integral in shaping the menu, without going too far Into the Woods. We are swooning over the joint's dreamy design.

If you’re craving something a little more casual, drop by during the day for unassumingly gourmet coffee, soups, and sandwiches. And for the times you need to relax and unwind visit the onsite wine bar Grapes and Soda. Serving up gourmet snacks and organic wines, we can’t think of a better place to frequent after a long day at work.
