Currently there are just under 40 lofts for sale in Gastown ranging in price from $200,000 - $2,000,000.  Pretty crazy spread there!  Of those there's only  eleven 2 level lofts, meaning at least 16' ceilings with a mezzanine which means the space always feels bigger than it is.  Gastown residences are mostly made up of single level, heritage lofts so finding a 2 level loft in Gastwon is definitley not impossible rather just slimmer pickings and fewer buildings.  My suggestion is find the right floor plan and welcome a renovation if necessary.  It may be easier than you think!
