Cucumber Lemon Drop




  • 3 10-ounce bottles club soda
  • 1 cup gin
  • 1/4 cup bottled lemon juice
  • 12 thin slices lemon
  • 12 thin slices cucumber
  • 12 sprigs fresh mint, for garnish (optional)


In a large pitcher, combine the club soda, gin and lemon juice.

Place a lemon slice and a cucumber slice in each of 12 glasses. Add 1 cup crushed ice to each glass. Pour the gin mixture into the glasses and garnish each with a mint sprig, if desired.


Grapefruit and Ginger Pitcher



  • 2 grapefruits, quartered
  • 4 ounces Ginger Simple Syrup, recipe follows
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 5 ounces tequila, blanco
  • Lemon-lime soda


In a large pitcher or bowl add grapefruit, ginger simple syrup and limes juice. Muddle, add tequila and ice. Fill container with lemon-lime soda.

Garnish with lime wedges

Ginger simple syrup:

  • 1 cup water
  • 3-inch piece peeled and sliced ginger
  • 2 cups sugar

Add water, ginger and the sugar to a saucepan and bring to boil. Stir until sugar is dissolve. Strain. Let cool and store in the refrigerator in an air tight container.


Blueberry Mojito




  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 bottle ready-to-serve Mojito mix (recommended: Smirnoff)
  • 1 liter bottle sparkling water
  • 8 sprigs fresh mint, for garnish


In a large pitcher, add the blueberries and muddle until they release their juices. Pour in the ready-to-serve Mojito mix and sparkling water and stir. Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish with a mint sprig and serve.


Pineapple-Chili Margaritas



Wet the rim of 4 short glasses and dip in a mixture of

2 tablespoons coarse salt  and

1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder.

Fill a cocktailshaker two-thirds of the way with ice.

Add 1 cup tequila,

1 cup pineapple juice,

1/2 cup fresh lime juice and

11/2 tablespoons agave nectar.

Shake well, then strain into the glasses.


Rose Sangria Spritzer




  • 2 bottles cold rose wine
  • 1 green apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, halved and thinly sliced
  • 1 pint fresh raspberries
  • Simple syrup, to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • Club soda, cold, optional


Combine wine, apple, orange, raspberries in a pitcher, add simple syrup, to taste. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 1 day. Serve over ice, garnish with mint and top with a few splashes of club soda, if desired.
