It’s no secret that we at Blu have some pretty mad love for the ‘hood we call home. And to be honest, it’s hard not to be enamored when so many awesome happenings are happening in the ‘hood. Right now, Mt. Pleasant is celebrating the first ever Vancouver Mural Festival, and more street art in our lives is certainly cause for celebration. If you’ve been in the area the past couple of days, you’ve probably noticed the big blue balloons dotting the Mt. Pleasant skyline. Each one signals where a mural is being painted, including one in our very own back 40… lucky us! A big thank you goes out to artist Taka Sudo – we couldn’t be happier about the addition of art and colour in our daily lives.
