Here at Blu, we’re big fans of Mount Pleasant. Our HQ is nestled comfortably at the corner of Kingsway and Broadway, and we love everything that the vibrant ‘hood has to offer. If you love Mount Pleasant as much as we do, come swing by the MetamorFest 2015 Community Street Festival. It’s a celebration of everything that makes Mount Pleasant awesome. 

This free event is family (and pet!) friendly, and offers all-day live entertainment spread across two stages. The festival will also showcase some of the local art, cultural, and community organizations that make Mount Pleasant a rockin’ place to be.  For the neighbourhood’s youngest generation of hipsters, there will be a bouncy castle as well as fun games and activities. The rest of the family can enjoy the silent auction and raffle, zumba and yoga classes, and a beer and wine garden where you can take in the Mount Pleasant vibes with a drink in hand. Of course, no street festival would be complete without street eats – there will be a variety of food trucks and vendors on hand to satisfy every palette.

Funds raised by the festival will go towards continuing the vital programs, services, and community center managed by the Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House.

The MetamorFest 2015 Community Street Festival is happening on Saturday September 26th from 12:00pm – 6:00pm. It’s located on East Broadway between Prince Albert & Fraser Streets. More info can be found here.
